Greatest Gain Award Criteria

For elementary schools, the criteria used for the Greatest Gain award is below.
  • Platinum Schools must have made AYP for 3 consecutive years and have a minimum of 35% Exceeding Standards and a Meets and Exceeds Gain equal to or greater than 4.29%.
  • Gold Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 30% Exceeding Standards and a Meets and Exceeds Gain equal to or greater than 6.76%.
  • Silver Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 25% Exceeding Standards and a Meets and Exceeds Gain equal to or greater than 6.23%.
  • Bronze Schools must not be in Needs Improvement status and have a minimum of 20% Exceeding Standards and a Meets and Exceeds Gain equal to or greater than 9.92%.

Highest Percentage Award Criteria

For elementary schools, the criteria used for the Highest Percentage award is below.
  • Platinum Schools must have made AYP for 3 consecutive years and have a minimum of 35% Exceeding Standards and at least 98.02% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
  • Gold Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 30% Exceeding Standards and at least 97.04% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
  • Silver Schools must have made AYP for 2 consecutive years and have a minimum of 25% Exceeding Standards and at least 96.03% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards.
  • Bronze Schools must not be in Needs Improvement status and have a minimum of 20% Exceeding Standards and at least 95.02% of Students Meeting and Exceeding Standards
